Took this today with Katie in IKEA cafe
that little bug was dead for almost a month now and has decomposed itself hence into pieces. It has been in my camera bag for that long The background is a paper plate after Katie finishing the Black Forest cake, which is my favourite This one is so cute, the bug looked so big in this. I wanted to add snow, but failed. It is Katie who made me make this minimal frame.... that's so not me ._. Comments

and it was really really alright to comment that much -- do not click me don't even think of putting your mouse over me minimal framing is nice
It's beautiful, very romantic and poetic. Like a tragic love story, but more beautiful than painful. Love what you did with the cake crumbs. I saw instantly how they resembled dirt and snow. But now they look even moreso. The focus is just delicious. Love how the sharpness of the shell contrasts beautifully with the blurred background. And, the angle. The way it's like a tilted vision, like coming up for a closer look. To see how and why she died. There's something very bittersweet about that, for some reason. -- My Portfolio Katie Franke Traditional Art Gallery Moderator |
