Wow, fantastic shot. I've been looking through your gallery, and I'm amazed at how clear and sharp your photos are. You use a Canon 400D, right? Do you do anything special in Photoshop afterward to make your shots so crisp? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, because it seems like this is what sets your photos apart from others. I'm getting a 400D on Tuesday and I wanted to see if I could achieve results like yours.

See what I mean.. you always get the most amazing pictures! :omg: What type of camera do you use?

The blueish overtone of this piece looks fantastic.. the contrails seem to be going into the sun!

i'd like to get one point straight tho, it doesn't really matter which camera you use, but how you use it. (okay I admit I doubt you could get a decent photo from a webcam...)

and yeah i do tend to use photoshop as much as i want. this photo, well, actually 15 photos took me about 10 hours to fine-tune to my liking, well, until i found that mac's gamma boosted up on the browser >_< i forgot to tell photoshop not to colour manage my photo here. :P

15 photos? yeah... they are stitched from 5 photos with 3 different exposures each. :)

but please, without prejudice, put away the thought of "i will get this tool so i can create this amazing stuff", that applies to pretty much everything :) you can't be van gogh II just if you buy the best gouache, if you know what I mean ;)

oh i forgot to mention, 400D is indeed a really good camera :)

i use sigma 10-20mm 4.0-5.6 for most of my super wide angle shots :]

Yeah, I totally know what you mean. I'm only getting a 400D because I've had a Canon Powershot for a while (to get the basic feel for photography), so I decided it was time to upgrade haha.

i was pretty lucky tho, to be at the right place at the right time :) well, i did go there about 15 minutes early, and enjoyed looking at the sun coming up on the tower bridge :]

i have had a sony dsc-f717 when i was 18 (2002), and i switched to my lovely 400d in 2007, and don't think i can ever look back!
