@00:30this really makes me wonder how long it took to make this. all of it is fast forwarded and so you can really gain a new respect especially in the part with the harbor because they have a pretty long section of clouds. i wish I had the patience to do that kind of thing...

Hong Kong Island Timelapse - by `geckokid A truly engaging and lovely short film. Time-lapse cinematography is difficult, time-consuming and challenging... so easy to get wrong. In this piece GeckoKid get a great number of things right and executes them beautifully. Strong visual compositions and well-planned time-lapse blend with the moody soundtrack to create a superior whole. When all of the elements of a film are original, the film becomes a more unique and singular experience, and we get a greater sense of the filmmaker's abilities. Great work, facinating to watch and just the right length... a sensory impression of Hong Kong that does not overstay its welcome. I look forward to more film work from GeckoKid. Well done. I really enjoyed the visual compositions and camera perspective. I found that music is what gives a special touch.
This video made me think about how the movement is what gives life to a city, so the city is alive.
