It was the first time I have seen so many stars in the sky, it was awesome.

This is an incredible shot that merits all the attention that it gets. The composition of the shot is great with the focus point in a unique position in the picture instead of the typical center or top. I really like the swirling effect, it reminds me of Starry Night by Van Gogh. The subject star is well place in the swirl and the exposure is long enough to give the nice colors at the bottom that fade upwards, but, not too long that the picture gets washed out.

I really feel both reverant and sad when I see this picture because many people live in cities where they can not see and appreciate this sort of natural beauty. Thank you for creating art that brings such natural wonders to those of us who can't always enjoy it.

It's so.. etheral. A real testimony to the complications and inner workings of the simplified world around us which is displayed perfectly in the charming countryside.
