Where are all the salamanders?

it's just an inside joke, and the frozen pond lived some fire salamanders... hope they still do, but hibernating!

This piece is ASTOUNDING! Nature has crazy ways. The lush green and the cool blue just fit perfectly together.

I love that waterfal in the center. It looks like a frozen splash. :) Overall, it's a very beautiful piece and the environment is just amazing. I like how you put all those photos together to make a panorama. It looks so good!

Well, I kind of already told you what I think about this brilliant picture, but since you wanted someone to finally comment instead of "just" favouriting this deviation.... I will comment...

I think that the scenery with all those many vertical lines and amazing colours works especially well with the pale background which also containes many vertical lines (namely the trunks of the trees).

I also like the idea that the picture seems to have more than one centre, still the ice seems to capture one's sight immediately.

Well, the only weak point to me might be that very bright green of the moss (I already told you about that...)

:)
