I think horizontal scrolling is always an interesting concept, but one that doesn't work well with the useability of websites. But if adapted in the right way, could work very well, so keep it up and I hope you find an awesome solution for this!
Either get rid of it or make it so it takes up more of my page, got a 24" monitor here, takes up less than half of it and looks stupid, dont notice that so much with vertical scrolling cus looking up and down is easier than side to side
well what sort of resolutions do you want to cater for?
This is the the problem with horizontal over vertical, people more naturally look up and down than side to side, so you may well get the same amount on a large monitor with horizontal and vertical scrolling. But horizontal just feels odd, its hard to describe and probably easier to experience. =/
could always try making it bigger vertically? you run the risk of alienating those with really small screens then mind.
