This is a fantastic, unique and original take on a cityscape. The perspective is truly visionary and the use of positive and negative space is just right.
The composition is excellent, showing enough of the skyscrapers and smaller buildings in the foreground. There is also just enough of the sky and the surrounding sea included in the frame to give the viewer a great sense of the city's surroundings and its overall location.
The exposure suits the photo perfectly, bringing out the wonderful warm colours generated by the sun and reflecting off the pastel-coloured buildings and the blue-green sea. It really almost allows you to feel the warm weather as though you're there, looking down on the buildings which look almost peaceful because of the photographer's skill and unusual choice of composition and angle (both excellent).
This is a great photo that captures this aspect of Hong Kong very very well indeed.
